SUMMARY:12th HbbTV Symposium and Awards 2024
DESCRIPTION:The 12th HbbTV Symposium and Awards will take place on 14th-15th November\, 2024 in London\, UK. The annual key summit of the connected TV industry\, targeting platform operators\, broadcasters\, advertisers and adtechs\, standards organisations and technology companies\, will be co-hosted with Everyone TV. The joint venture owned and supported by the UK’s leading public service broadcasters BBC\, ITV\, Channel 4 and Channel 5 operates the free-TV platforms Freeview and Freesat. \nThe HbbTV Symposium and Awards 2024 will take place at Church House\, a prestigious event and conference venue in the heart of Westminster\, central London. The historical building\, dating back to 1887\, will provide an excellent and inspiring location for delegates\, sponsors\, exhibitors and networking. \nTop-level executives of the international connected TV industry will provide exclusive\, first-hand insights into the latest industry developments\, discussing new services\, experiences and challenges with a focus on specifications\, interoperability\, standards regimes and regulation. Topics include new developments in the areas of Targeted Advertising\, DVB-I\, the HbbTV Operator Application and Application Discovery over Broadband Phase 2 (ADB2). \nFollowing the successful introduction of the new concept last year\, the HbbTV Symposium will again consist of a traditional conference with keynotes\, panels and roundtables on the first day\, followed by the glamourous HbbTV Awards ceremony in the evening. The second day will feature an unconference at which participants decide about the agenda\, topics and discussions\, actively shaping and driving the sessions and conclusions.
