Established in 2000 as a subsidiary of Digital TV Group (DTG), the association for the UK digital TV industry, DTG Testing has become the interoperability testing house for the UK digital TV market.
A vital resource for the TV and IP industries and a trusted partner to the regulators, DTG Testing and its world class facilities provide testing services for manufacturers, platform operators and broadcasters and participate in developing specialised testing tools with pan-industry partners.
The Zoo at DTG Testing, an extensive market representation of televisions and receivers, is the UK’s only comprehensive testing and accreditation centre for digital TV devices and services. With more than 190 TVs (HD & 4K TVs), the DTG TV collection is the world’s largest collection of its kind and represents 95% of the UK free-to-air receiver market.
An invaluable resource for any company looking to launch a product or service related to TV, audio and video in any market around the world, the DTG Zoo is based in London in our purpose-made, cutting-edge climate-controlled labs. It has been built to offer an authentic simulation for multiple co-existence and broadcast scenarios.
