HbbTV publishes full video recordings from HbbTV Symposium and Awards 2025
Geneva, 23 March 2026 – The HbbTV Association has published video recordings of all 20 conference sessions from the HbbTV Symposium and Awards 2025, offering the industry comprehensive insight into the key discussions and developments shaping connected television. The recordings are now available on the Association’s channel on YouTube.
Held in Istanbul, the 2025 edition of the HbbTV Symposium and Awards was co-hosted with TVekstra, a leading Turkish provider of addressable advertising solutions. The annual flagship event of the connected TV community brought together broadcasters, platform operators, device manufacturers, technology providers and regulators to discuss the evolving television ecosystem.
The newly published recordings provide open access to the full conference programme, including keynote speeches, expert presentations and roundtable discussions covering the most relevant developments in connected television.
The programme covered HbbTV’s expansion into new markets, its place in an IP-driven TV landscape, and opportunities to monetise services. Sessions also highlighted specification updates, addressable advertising, accessibility, content discovery, and regulatory frameworks.
“By making the full set of conference recordings available online, we want to ensure that the valuable insights from the HbbTV Symposium and Awards reach an even wider audience across the connected TV ecosystem,” said HbbTV Chair Vincent Grivet. “The sessions provide valuable insights into how hybrid broadcast broadband services are evolving and where the market is heading.”
