- Sweden adopted to the HbbTV 2.0 standard since January 2017, following NorDig specifications “NorDig Unified Requirements for Integrated Receiver Decoders for use in cable, satellite, terrestrial and IP-based networks”; it is a common platform for Digital Television to be used within the Nordic region (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden) and Éire. NorDig (nordig.com) is a open specification free to use.
- Viewers are reached by Cable (57%), IPTV (19%), DTT (13%) and Satellite networks (11%).
