EBU BroadThinking 2015 and DVB World 2015 Showcase HbbTV

GENEVA — March 16, 2015 — The HbbTV Association, a global initiative dedicated to providing an open standard for the delivery of broadcast and broadband services through connected TVs and set-top boxes, is pleased to announce that BroadThinking 2015 and DVB World 2015 will prominently feature HbbTV topics, speakers and discussions.

BroadThinking 2015 is organized by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and is taking place from March 18th and 19th. The event has designed an agenda with a strong focus on HbbTV, including a broad range of sessions covering a variety of topics including HbbTV 2.0, certification, interoperability, deployments and more. DVB World 2015, scheduled from March 23rd to 25th , will feature Jon Piesing, Director of Standardization at TP Vision and Vicechair of the HbbTV Association, reviewing the new HbbTV 2.0 specification.
