HbbTV deployments overview updated with latest market figures
We are happy to announce that we have updated the HbbTV deployments section of the HbbTV website with the latest figures from key markets around the globe.
This major update follows an agreement with Dataxis, an independent research company, which allows HbbTV to improve the quality and freshness of the market data. With offices and analysts in Europe, Latin America and Africa, Dataxis covers more than 180 countries worldwide.
The updated HbbTV deployments section provides basic KPIs for the major HbbTV markets in Europe, ANZ and MENA, measured at the end of 2023. The figures include the number of TV households, smart TV penetration, HbbTV penetration, total TV revenues (FTA and pay-TV), the major broadcasters’ market shares and active targeted/addressable advertising solutions.
