HbbTV Symposium and Awards 2021: Call for Sponsors

Geneva, April 20, 2021 – The 9th HbbTV Symposium and Awards, taking place on November 25-26, 2021 in Paris, France, will provide a unique opportunity to reach top-level executives from the broadcast and broadband industry. The HbbTV Association, which co-hosts the event with French TV platform SALTO, has compiled several attractive sponsorship packages for promotional activities.

“The HbbTV Symposium and Awards is back after its highly unwanted Covid-19 related break in 2020, offering an industry-leading platform to promote your company, solutions and services. This time, there are even more opportunities for sponsors to announce, showcase and discuss their products as additional events will take place ahead of the Symposium and Awards 2021, starting with the HbbTV Symposium and Awards Premiere on May 27,” said Vincent Grivet, Chair of the HbbTV Association.

Details on the sponsoring and promotional packages at the HbbTV Symposium and Awards and the preceding preview and demo events can be found in the Call for Sponsors. Interested companies are encouraged to secure their commercial arrangements quickly as the opportunities are limited, ensuring great visibility for the participating partners.

The HbbTV Symposium and Awards 2021 targets platform operators, broadcasters, advertisers and adtechs, standards organisations and technology companies, offering first-hand insights into the latest and most innovative services available to viewers, operators and advertisers. The topics will include targeted advertising solutions, new HbbTV OpApp deployments, updates of the HbbTV specifications and HbbTV in new environments such as DVB-I and 5G.

The annual key summit of the connected TV industry will also host the 4th edition of the HbbTV Awards, featuring a wide range of categories designed to acclaim best practice and excellence in the HbbTV community.
To be prepared for all possible scenarios, the HbbTV Association is working on a hybrid event which includes an in-person gathering, the size depending on the situation and local regulation, and the possibility to participate online.
