HD Forum Italia 2015 Conference Puts Spotlight on HbbTV 2.0

GENEVA — April 17, 2015 — The HbbTV Association, a global initiative dedicated to providing an open standard for the delivery of broadcast and broadband services through connected TVs and set-top boxes, is delighted to announce their participation at the HD Forum Italia 2015 Conference. The event will feature an HbbTV 2.0 workshop and a range of industry speakers representing the HbbTV Association.

The HbbTV workshop is scheduled from on April 24th as part of the HD Forum Italia Conference 2015, which will be on the 25th , at the Congress Centre in San Marino, Italy. The HD Forum Italia designed the conference to discuss current opportunities with hybrid services and to share best practices from other regions. This will include an overview of the different interactive services deployed on terrestrial and satellite channels. The goal of the conference is to promote the adoption of HbbTV services across the digital TV industry in Italy. The workshop will be part of the agenda at the annual HD Forum Italia general assembly which includes participation from broadcasters, network operators, TV manufacturers, service providers and developers.
