“Congratulations to the winners of the HbbTV Awards 2022! As usual, the submissions have been highly interesting and impressive. They also confirm a shift from the previous dominance of sophisticated innovations with yet to prove market impact to mainstream products and applications, for example promoting a broadcaster’s VOD consumer proposal. The winners provide great examples of how HbbTV is now a tangible commercial reality for broadcasters, manufacturers and viewers,” said Vincent Grivet, Chairman of the HbbTV Association.
The winners were selected by an independent jury of international industry experts. A total of 35 submissions from 9 countries were received during the call for entries.
The prizes were awarded to the winners at a glamorous ceremony on November 9, 2022 as part of the 10th HbbTV Symposium and Awards in Prague, co-hosted by the HbbTV Association and the Czech Association of Commercial Television (AKTV).
