How can broadcasters keep thriving in the complex and fragmented world of Connected TVs?
The presentation highlights how Connected TVs (CTV) both challenge and enable broadcasters as they adapt to new market conditions, with technical fragmentation posing a key obstacle. It concludes that HbbTV offers a unified, broadcaster-friendly solution on CTVs, providing modern features and a controlled environment without unwanted intermediaries.
This presentation was held by Vincent Grivet, Chairman of the HbbTV Association, at the asi 2025 International Television & Video Conference, 5-7 November 2025, in Copenhagen, Denmark.
