Eoghan O’Sullivan is a communications consultant and facilitator, working with the DVB Project, the European Broadcasting Union, the HbbTV Association and others. For more than 25 years, he has been creating content, producing events and engaging stakeholders across diverse communities, mostly in the media domain.
His professional focus in recent years has been on transforming conferences and events to make them more interactive, encouraging and supporting his clients to adopt highly participatory approaches like the unconference. He facilitated the HbbTV Symposium’s first unconference in 2023 and has been the overall event moderator annually since then, a role he will take on again in 2026. Originally from Ireland (which is the origin of his name, pronounced like “Owen”), he has lived in Switzerland since 2004.
Vincent Grivet
Biography
Vincent Grivet is an independent consultant advising broadcast and technology players in Europe and the USA, focusing on strategic and technology alliances, business development and industrial affairs.
Since 2018, he serves as Chairman of the HbbTV Association (Geneva) a global initiative dedicated to providing open standards for advanced interactive TV services through broadcast and broadband networks to connected TV sets and set-top boxes.
He is a non-executive director at the Board of Netgem (ALNTG.PA), an independent innovator in digital TV, media and gaming services.
Prior to this, he held various international marketing, M&A, business development and general management positions at Orange Group and at TDF Group. During its time at TDF, Vincent has been an active DVB contributor and Board Member and a recognised broadcast innovator, initiating specification work and industrial deployment in important forward-looking topics such as addressable TV advertising and mobile broadcasting.
Vincent graduated from the prestigious Paris Ecole Polytechnique and Paris Tech Telecom engineering schools and is also an IFA certified company director.
Rosa Romà
Biography
Rosa Romà is President of 3Cat, Catalonia’s national public service media organisation. She is leading the transformation of Catalonia’s public media, accelerating its digital evolution, expanding its multi-platform strategy and strengthening its role as a trusted public service media organisation.
With a background in Advertising and Public Relations, a Master’s degree in Strategic Communication Planning and an Executive MBA from ESADE, Rosa has built her career around strategy, innovation and organisational transformation.
Prior to joining 3Cat, she served as Director of Innovation, Citizen Engagement and User Experience at the Catalan Health Service (CatSalut), where she led strategic transformation initiatives and played a key leadership role in Catalonia’s healthcare response during the COVID-19 pandemic. She also held senior leadership positions in public administration, including at Barcelona City Council, and previously worked in strategic consulting at global agencies including DDB and Ogilvy.
Today, Rosa Romà combines public leadership with a strong commitment to innovation and organisational transformation. Under her leadership, 3Cat is strengthening its public service mission, accelerating its digital transformation and expanding its international collaboration through its active participation in the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
Jon Piesing
Biography
Jon Piesing played a major role facilitating the convergence of the original French and German initiatives which together become HbbTV. He is Vice-Chair of the HbbTV Association and Chair of the Specification Group. He is Chair of the Technical Module of the DVB project and a member of the Steering Board there.
He is a member of the Steering Committee of the CTA Web Application Video Ecosystem (WAVE) project and acting as project manager of their device testing developments. He has been a leading figure in the development of specifications for integration of TV and interactivity for more than twenty years. This has included being the chairman of groups in DVB, the Open IPTV Forum and the UK DTG.
Jon is now Director, Standardisation for TP Vision (who manufacture Philips TVs for Europe and a number of other territories). He has previously held senior positions related to standardisation in several different units of Philips.
Guillaume Perrin
Biography
Guillaume Perrin is Head of Sales – Market Intelligence at Dataxis and a former Principal Analyst specializing in the global media, telecommunications, and technology industries. He has extensive expertise in telecommunications, broadband, pay TV, streaming, sports media, and regularly contributes insights on the trends reshaping the industry. A frequent speaker and moderator at international conferences, Guillaume shares data-driven perspectives on the evolution of media, connectivity, and digital entertainment.
Damien de Foucault
Biography
Damien de Foucault is a media and technology expert with over 25 years of leadership experience. He began his career in the automotive industry before developing out-of-home audience measurement at Mobimétrie, where he transformed the organization into a joint-stock company.
He then led JFC (a Kantar subsidiary) and served as International Marketing Director and EMEA Digital Innovation Lead at Kantar.
From 2017 to 2022, as EVP and General Manager of Adwanted Group, he scaled the company from €1.6M to €15M in revenue and grew the team from 25 to 170. He also served as Vice-President of IREP.
In 2022, he was appointed Managing Director of UDECAM, where he launched France’s first media carbon footprint calculator. Since 2024, he has been advising tech and media companies.
A graduate of EBS Paris and HEC Paris (Finance for Leaders), he also mentors young professionals and served 12 years as a municipal councillor in Neuilly-sur-Seine.
Michele Gosetti
Biography
Michele Gosetti is VP, Sports & Events, New Media and Western Europe Sales at SES. In this role, he leads the global strategy and commercial development of SES’s Sports & Events and New Media businesses, while overseeing key media accounts across France, Spain, Italy and the Benelux. Prior to this, he served as Head of Sales, Sports & Events from 2022 to 2025, leading the company’s global Sports & Events sales strategy.
With more than 20 years of experience in the media industry, Michele has a proven track record of driving revenue growth, developing new business opportunities and building strong customer relationships. Before joining SES in 2022, he was Head of Sales and Marketing at Eurovision Services, the broadcast services arm of the European Broadcasting Union. Earlier, he spent 16 years in executive roles at Globecast, developing new revenue streams and global sales strategies.
Michele has worked in Paris, Rome, Geneva, Singapore and New York, and holds a BA in Economics and Finance from Sciences Po Strasbourg, France.
Ricarda Jebsen
Biography
Ricarda Jebsen is a leading AdTech and business development expert shaping the future of digital advertising in Europe. As Managing Director of Virtual Minds (ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE) and d-force (the pioneering joint venture between ProSiebenSat.1 and RTL Deutschland), she operates at the critical intersection of technology, media, and strategy. In these pivotal roles, she drives the evolution of programmatic advertising and sets cross-industry standards for Addressable TV and cross-media video campaigns.
Prior to this, Ricarda served as CEO of the data intelligence specialist The Adex and held key strategic leadership positions within the ProSiebenSat.1 Group, where she successfully spearheaded M&A partner management and digital transformation strategies. With her deep technological expertise and visionary leadership, she actively champions innovative, future-proof media technologies for the European market.
Moritz Wuttke
Biography
Moritz Wuttke is Vice‑Chairman and Board Member at Konodrac, where he has spent the past eight years pioneering large‑scale, HbbTV‑based audience measurement across Europe and Asia. He is a regular presenter in the HbbTV Webinar Series, including the 2026 session “Audience Measurement and Analytics with HbbTV”, where he outlined how hybrid measurement combining HbbTV census data with traditional TAM panels reduces zero ratings and delivers real‑time viewing insights.
Moritz has been a central figure in advancing hybrid TAM/HbbTV fusion models, demonstrating how HbbTV data adds scale, stability and precision to national measurement systems. His work has contributed to multi‑market deployments and Proof‑of‑Concepts that show measurable improvements in accuracy and viewing‑minute capture.
He collaborates closely with broadcasters, regulators, OTT platforms and technology providers, helping them transition from fragmented measurement to unified, cross‑platform audience intelligence. Moritz is widely recognised for translating complex technical standards into practical, scalable solutions that modernise TV measurement and prepare markets for next‑generation services such as addressable TV, DVB‑I and FAST channels
Naomi Schoppa
Biography
Naomi Schoppa, M.Sc., is a research associate in the “Future Applications and Media” division of the Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems (FOKUS). Her research focuses on the provenance and authenticity of digital media content, particularly the technical integration of relevant standards and technologies into media infrastructures and workflows. She addresses interoperability and implementation aspects of standards designed to support trustworthy digital media services.
Klaus Merkel
Biography
Klaus joined rbb/ARD in April 2021 and actively contributes to the development of the HbbTV standard and its practical application. He is involved in the development of new concepts for user journeys and features and their practical implementation in ARD HbbTV apps.
From 1991-2021 Klaus had been employed at the broadcast research institute IRT where he was engaged in working groups for the definition and market introduction of open and interoperable platforms for interactive TV.
Aylen Alonso Montero
Biography
Aylen Alonso Montero is Global Account Director at TVekstra, where she leads international partnerships and supports the expansion of the company’s HbbTV and Connected TV solutions across global markets. Working at the intersection of broadcast technology, advertising and commercial strategy, she collaborates with broadcasters, agencies, brands and technology partners to develop addressable, interactive and measurable television experiences.
Aylen represents TVekstra and the Turkish market at international industry events, contributing to discussions on HbbTV innovation, addressable advertising, ACR, audience data and hybrid broadcast services. She has presented at HbbTV Association webinars and events and participated in industry roundtables focused on the evolution of advanced TV advertising. Her work centres on turning emerging television technologies into scalable commercial opportunities and practical viewer experiences.
Dr Louay Bassbouss
Biography
Dr Louay Bassbouss is a researcher and Senior Project Manager R&D in the Future Applications and Media (FAME) business unit at the Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems (FOKUS).
He works on future web applications, multimedia technologies and standards, media streaming over 5G, and technologies that enable Metaverse experiences across different devices and platforms.
Louay actively participates in various standardization groups in W3C, HbbTV and CTA. He is the co-chair of the W3C Second Screen Working and Community Groups and actively contributes to various testing activities in HbbTV and CTA WAVE.
Louay is also a lecturer at the Technical University of Berlin (TU Berlin) in the field of open distributed systems and advanced media technologies.
Xavi Redon
Biography
Xavi Redon is a Product Manager in the Product Strategy and Innovation department at Cellnex Telecom, where he drives the development of innovative digital media and broadcasting solutions. He also serves as a Steering Group member and Treasurer of the HbbTV Association, Vice Chair of UHD Spain association and is teaching access technologies at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
Throughout his career, Xavi has played a key role in the evolution of digital television in Spain. He currently leads LOVEStv, the Spanish broadcasters’ HbbTV platform, recognized with the HbbTV Award in 2018, and coordinates the TDT Híbrida certification process. He has actively contributed to the deployment and promotion of technologies including HbbTV, Ultra High Definition (UHD), DVB-T/T2 and 5G Broadast.
Xavi holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, a postgraduate qualification in Telecommunications Management, and a Master’s degree in Marketing and Sales from EAE Business School.
Richard Lindsay-Davies
Biography
Richard Lindsay-Davies is Chief Executive of the Digital TV Group, the UK’s leading industry collaboration for television technology and innovation. A has more than 30 years of board-level experience across global companies, platforms and start-ups.
He has helped pioneer major developments in flat-panel, widescreen and digital television and is recognised internationally for his contribution to the industry, including an Emmy Award and being named Royal Television Society Technology Leader of the Year 2024.
Richard works at the intersection of technology, policy, commercial strategy and consumer needs. He chaired the UK Government’s Future of TV Distribution Infrastructure Working Group, convening broadcasters, platforms, manufacturers, network operators and public bodies to examine the future of television delivery.
His current focus is ensuring that the transition to IP television is open, interoperable, resilient and inclusive, while enabling innovation across the global media ecosystem.
Alex Russell
Biography
Alex works for Everyone TV (ETV) as the Controller of Technical Partnerships. He manages the technical relationships with ETV’s manufacturing, OS and Broadcaster partners and has been heavily involved in the launch of Freely and the Freeview Play TV platforms bringing the connected TV experience to millions of viewers.
Alex is also responsible for the end-to-end testing of the Freely and Freeview Play services through to TV devices together with the conformance and assurance required for devices to be branded ‘Freeview Play’ and ‘Freely’.
Stefano Braghieri
Stefano Braghieri has almost 30 years of experience in broadcast technologies in various capacities, from writing code to standards development and testing. He has been with Mediaset since 2011, working on support for new technologies and product innovation. Owner of the Mediaset DVB-I PoC since 2020.
Ranjeet Kaur
Biography
Ranjeet Kaur is a seasoned expert in digital television technology, with extensive experience across hybrid broadcast and IP distribution networks, TV platforms, and connected device ecosystems. As Programme Director at the Digital TV Group (DTG), she has led major industry projects for organisations including Ofcom, Everyone TV, Sky, Roku, Amazon, Google, and leading consumer electronics manufacturers.
Her work covers a broad range of topics, from traditional broadcast technologies to streaming services and targeted advertising. She oversees DTG Testing’s development and testing operations, ensuring interoperability and quality across digital TV platforms.
Ranjeet also facilitates key DTG industry working groups focused on the UK DTT hybrid platforms and serves as Chair of the DVB-I Implementers Task Force within the DVB Project, helping drive the adoption of next-generation television standards. She also serves as a member of the HbbTV Steering Board, contributing to the strategic direction and evolution of hybrid broadcast and broadband TV standards.
Under her leadership, DTG has contributed significantly to the successful launch and evolution of major UK television platforms. More recently, she has led initiatives supporting Freely testing services and the DTG DVB-I Test Suite, enabling the deployment of next-generation IP-based television services.
Orpheus Warr
Biography
Orf is the CTO at Everyone TV, driving the technical development and operation of ETV’s platforms and consumer-facing products.
Since joining in 2022, Orf has taken a leading role in the launch and growth of Freely, IP-enabled live TV experience which represents the next step in the company’s mission of championing free TV for all.
Prior to Everyone TV, Orf served as the CTO at Channel 4, with responsibility for a range of functions encompassing Broadcast, IT Strategy and Services.
Across his career, Orf has been instrumental in the design and launch several industry-leading innovations, including the world’s first Broadcaster VoD platform ‘4oD’, and novel forms of personalisation and addressability underpinned by cloud and big-data solutions.
Orf was previously a Board Director for the DPP, and currently serves on the Board of the DTG (Digital Television Group), as well as a DTG Council member and Technology Steering Group co-Chair.
Mika Kanerva
Biography
Mika is COO of Sofia Digital, a Finnish broadcast technology company specialising in HbbTV and connected TV platform services. He led the delivery of the OSNtv operator application — the first HbbTV Operator Application deployment in the Middle East and North Africa — working across application engineering, security integration, and partner coordination with Nagravision and Samsung.
His project experience spans Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Notable engagements include the LOVEStv project with Cellnex Telecom in Spain, where Sofia Digital developed a unique capability to transition users directly from the Smart TV home screen into live broadcast (premiered at the HbbTV Symposium, Paris, 2021), and Malaysia’s national DTT rollout, where Sofia Digital’s technology powered the country’s switch to DVB-T2 with HbbTV-enabled services. Mika has supported HbbTV adoption with broadcasters and regulators globally and has presented and published on hybrid broadcast standards.
